After playing volleyball, a couple of my friends and I headed over to the Double T Diner in Annapolis for some eats. Shortly before we got up to leave, someone across the restaurant received the Heimlich manuever. Apparently, she was choking on a piece of ice. After everyone figured out what had happened, she and the person who helped her received a round of applause. It was all very surreal.
After I collected my thoughts, I thanked Jesus for allowing me to witness this event and that the girl was alright. It's not every day that you get to see someone's life saved.
