When in Annapolis, be sure you drop by Aromi d'Italia. They have the best food I've ever tasted. The proprietor, Eddie, is a humble, gentle, and joyful man, easy to talk with and delighted to see a familiar face. I go there whenever I can, but as a college student, that's not too often. However, he always seems to recognize me. I really enjoy watching him smile when he sees my face.
To eat, I highly recommend the Aromi Max, accompanied by Homemade Lemonade, and Straeciatella and / or Strawberry Gelato. Please don't stop there, though. Everything I've had has been excellent. I believe there's even a buffet for lunch during the week. The pizzas are a must, as well.
The first time I went to Aromi was after my high school prom. My date, Liz, frequented the place and wanted some gelato. So, we took the limo through downtown Annapolis and all piled into Aromi, tuxes, dresses, and all. It was great fun.
I also went to Aromi after another prom. It was just as, if not more, delightful then. Actually, that was the greatest night of my life... but I digress. Aromi is a place where memories are made. Go there. Frequently. Oh, and say hi to Eddie for me.
