Every once in a while,

Every once in a while, I'll pull a practical joke. These usually end up hurting someone's feelings and betraying someone's trust in me. This happened today (well, Wednesday, anyway). I end up feeling horrible and apologizing, but I can see in their eyes that they're just so hurt. You would figure I'd learn.

I'm genuinely sorry. I think that's something that people aren't used to these days. People also have an odd idea of forgiveness. Forgive and forget go hand-in-hand. Most of the time, people only remember the former.

I'm somewhat of a student of forgiveness, mostly because I seem to need a lot of it due to past actions. It's a really cool concept when practiced correctly. It's really too difficult to get into here, but forgiveness basically entails forgiving a person of a wrong doing and not holding it against them (forgetting it) in the future.

Forgiveness is my friend.

Mmm, Beethoven's 5th Symphony is yummy. Very aurally pleasing.

Man, West Wing was great

Man, West Wing was great tonight. They did an excellent job dealing with the issues currently on the minds of most Americans. I really enjoy the writing on that show. It's on at 9pm on Wednesdays and well-worth an hour of your time.

In other news, the second episode of Enterprise was on tonight. The show is a prequel to all the Star Trek shows that have already ended. It's neat seeing how the Federation has progressed to where they were in the previous Star Trek shows.

So, you're probably thinking that I'm a Treky, right? Well, I'm not, really. Sure, I enjoy the show, but I'm no fanatic. I may be a geek, but I'm not obsessed. It's just something I like watching, thankyouverymuch.
