I'm starting a new journal tonight. At Helen's suggestion, it's a journal to my future wife, whomever she may be. It's kind of a thing where I can tell her how I'm preparing to be her husband. I'm kind of excited, actually. Maybe I'll show you people some entries some time. Wish me luck.

OK, it looks like the movies for tomorrow night are FernGully: The Last Rainforest and Enemy at the Gates. See y'all at 8pm.

Last Friday, I watched the Three Amigos for the first time. The movie was quite good, just the kind of humor I was looking for. Here's part of one of my favorite scenes:

Jefe: I have put many beautiful piñatas in the store room, each of them filled with little surprises.

El Guapo: Many piñatas?

Jefe: Oh yes, many!

El Guapo: Would you say I have a plethora of piñatas?

Jefe: A what?

El Guapo: A plethora.

Jefe: Oh yes. You have a plethora.

El Guapo: Jefe, what is a plethora?

Jefe: Why, Guapo?

El Guapo: Well, you told me I have a plethora. And I just would like to know if you know what a plethora is. I would not like to think that a person would tell someone he has a plethora and find out that that person has no idea what it means to have a plethora.

Jefe: Forgive me, Guapo. I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education.

We went to this restaurant--Isabella's. It was so awful. I was nervous, he was nervous... the waiter was nervous. -- a friend talking about a recent date

There's only so much truth that something like this can have. It's partially right, but it's definitely not perfect. Still fun. Check it out.
