Mandy, my five month old puppy, and I went for a walk today. As can be expected from a Maryland winter, there were patches of ice after the recent rain. Mandy, unfamiliar with ice, attempted to drink it. This proved unsuccessful, which motivated her to run, err, slide to another spot of ice to try to lick it. Such activities ensued for several minutes, to my hysterical delight. Dogs are cool.

Dave Barry explains the life
Dave Barry explains the life of a Microsoft Windows user: At least once per day, without fail, my computer, like every computer I have ever owned, has some kind of emotional breakdown.
Barry goes on to thank Microsoft for the patience he's learned over the years from the numerous technical difficulties most computer users have become accustomed to. He even uses a wonderfully nonsensical analogy. I really like this guy. Read and enjoy.
