For a long time, I've been having problems with motivation. I feel that I've become unreliable to my friends and colleagues. For instance, I was offered a project rewriting a half-finished web site for the my school's coming Centennial Celebration (1903 - 2003). This would be wonderful for my résumé, especially if I go into a job doing web site design after college. I just don't trust myself to work diligently on it. I figure I'll miss the deadline and really let down my advisor and the college. That's just not a position I want to be in.

I know I have to do better. When I was working full-time before coming to school, I had the same problem. I just couldn't get things done. Two consecutive employers had serious problems with me because I didn't do my work. That's really horrible. I could start talking about my commitment to my classes right now, but it's just more of the same. And unfortunately, I don't know how to get out of this strife.

Encouragement would be appreciated while I'm working on figuring this all out. Thanks.
