I really enjoyed today. Last night, I knew I had to do something rash otherwise I wouldn't get anything done yet again. Therefore, I turned off my computer before I went to bed last night. So much of my day usually revolves around this electronic contraption--I had to get away from it.
While I didn't stay away from my computer all day (actually, I turned it on early this morning to print something out), I was happy my day didn't revolve around it. I walked my dog, got a lot of work done, and still managed to relax.
Plans for the rest of the summer are slowly falling into place. I'm going to the beach for a day in two weeks. I may go to Wisconsin to visit family. I have plenty of work to do and plenty of time to do it. And, I have a shelf of books I want to read. We'll see how things work out. Ta ta for now.
