The original plan was to go to the beach. For various reasons (mostly weather related), those plans fell through. So, Jeremy, Ben, and I decided to roam Maryland for the day.
Lunch was a prosciutto and fresh mozzarella sandwich (on foccacia bread) with mozzarella sticks from Piazza Italia in Glen Burnie. After a quick stop at the Gateway Country store where Jeremy works to play video games, we headed to the Maryland Science Center at Baltimore's Inner Harbor for an IMAX show.
Of course, the 3:20pm show was sold out. Without thinking, we purchased tickets (OK, I purchased a ticket) for the 4:20pm show, which turned out to be a completely different movie. Oops. Before the showing, we perused the aisles of Barnes and Noble, where I read part of book about MiB II.
After the movie, we decided to do some car/motorcycle shopping. The Volkswagen Jetta will probably be my next car, so we took one for a spin. No offense Belle (my '92 Ford Taurus), but what a car. After all the day's excitement, Jeremy and I had teriyaki chicken and rice for dinner at this UMBC apartment.
Considering the day's original plans, I'd say things turned out quite well.
