I came home this summer wanting to learn two things from my parents: 1) how to tie a tie and 2) how to drive stick. Tomorrow, my step-mother will be teaching me how to make and can blackberry and blueberry jam. Not exactly what I had in mind, but it should prove interesting anyway.
