The Good Life... a weblog about life, technology, and the Opera Web browser

Back in Oslo

This weekend, I took a trip over the little pond (read: Atlantic Ocean) from my home office to the head office. I'm still a bit jetlagged, but the first day back at the office was a (sleepy) pleasure.

I always feel very welcome in the Opera offices. Over the summer, I interned in the Quality Assurance department and got to know a lot of the Opera people. It's nice to be remembered now that I'm back. This evening, I had great conversations with the Windows developers and the main guy in charge the M2 backend. They have such wonderful ideas, it only seems to be time that holds them back.

I'll be in Oslo for two and half months working on Customer Service issues and helping with the release of Opera 7.50. It'll be a bit different being back in the office again, but I'm looking forward to what these two months hold. I might even get in some skiing.
