I receive a fair amount of e-mail quizzes, particularly from Helen, the poor girl devoid of the motivation to log in to this site when she leaves comments. The questions are sometimes interesting enough to share with others. So, I've added a new FAQ page. I'll try to update it with new quiz questions as I get them, too. I hope it answers all the questions about me that have just been tugging at your very being. If not, just ask.

You know why you don't have that time estimation thing down? I'm guessing it's because you didn't used to watch the clock for hours on end. Yup, that's me, your super-duper interesting sister with the really good sense of time (I am ALWAYS aware of the fact that I am late). So get comfy in front of a nice digital clock, and kick back for about an hour or so. The digital clock is key, as it prevents cheating with the second hand, and encourages you to guess a little. I recommend repeating at least once a week until it starts to sink in. Or, you know, not...you do seem to have something of a life, after all. And in my own defense, I was just a small child, and it's amazing what can keep you entertained when you're a small child....like a couple of 2x4's (a.k.a. a "fort") in the backyard....
I also have to say this, and I mean this with love, having listened to Dad's angst over his lack of hair for just about the same length of time that you have: Rogaine - prevention is key.

Hey now Helen...it's not my fault that Hodges is the one who has decided to make the trip to NoVa on April Fools' Day! Actually, I hadn't even put two and two together to realize April 1st was April Fools' Day. Anyhow, you and I play better jokes when we team up on others, right tim? Perhaps we should combine forces and pull one over on Hodges :)

Hi Helen - I was getting the spam warning, even signed in, and just on the FAQ page, not here. Apparently, it didn't like the word "rogaine." You know, if I was a spam filter, I probably wouldn't like the word rogaine either. Although it is kind of fun to say. Anyway, join the club of those who sign in :)

Yes, certain words are more likely to trigger the spam filter than others. I check comments that get marked as spam, so if your comment doesn't show up or you get an error, more likely than not, I'll clean it up within a day.
Oh, and I fixed the error message you were getting, Sis. Last time I upgraded the spam filter, I missed part of the update.

well now that i changed my password from HcW6yus97s, it's gotten a lot easier... still, corri, it was SO much more entertaining coming up with names every time i want to post. the spam filter thing, just because tim has soooooo much time on his hands, makes me kind of want to put random spammy words in all my comments. but i guess i'm just too nice for that. heh.
