The Good Life... a weblog about life, technology, and the Opera Web browser

The Opera Labs

In addition to the release of Opera 9.0 Preview 2, today we opened the Opera Labs. The Opera Labs are a place to find information about new technologies in Opera releases and new products we're developing. We're planning a lot of exciting things for the Labs, so make sure to subscribe to the newsfeed (when it becomes available).

For all you preview and beta testers, the Labs won't replace our Beta testing site, snapshot.opera.com, but work along with it.

Feed?

Hi Tim,

Can you post the link to the feed for Opera Labs? It doesn't show up as a rel link...

Thanks,
Jeff

Feed the Live Bookmarks

Thanks, Tim.

This may be a lot to ask, but since I can't currently use Opera as my main browser (due to this issue with Opera 9 TP2), I use Firefox. I'm eagerly awaiting O9 TP3 so I'd like to monitor the OLabs feed as a Live Bookmark. Can whoever runs the Opera Labs website ensure that the feed properly validates and (as an extra bonus) displays properly as a Live Bookmark in Firefox (with titles and in the proper chronological order)? I notice that blogs on the Opera community site do not do this, much to my aggravation (Tim, your feed displays perfectly).

Anyway, I'd appreciate your good word here, ;)

Thanks,
Jeff
